Patches is a very loving cat. She follows me pretty much wherever I go in the house. Originally she was supposed to be my friends cat, but she really attached herself to me instead. When she was a kitten she stepped on a fish hook that was attached to a fishing pole and it went through her paw. She was in total panic but the moment I touched her she relaxed and quit struggling. I guess she felt I would make everything ok (she was fine, but sore for a couple days). At least once a day she has to crawl up on me and lick my neck. I have no idea why she does it but she rarely does it with anyone else. The only time she will is if I'm out of town then she'll reluctantly go after my fiancé. Patches is extremely graceful and regularly walks along the balcony of my office. She's also tough too. She is the only cat so far to fall off the balcony. She was playing with Jason and slipped on some cardboard and went right through the railing. When I ran to see if she was ok, she rolled over on her back and took shameless advantage of my concern to get her tummy rubbed.
