Jason and his sister Patches were found at a friends workplace. Their mother had given birth and was keeping them in the warehouse part of a factory. I took them in when they were about 4 weeks old. Once they got old enough to be weaned I gave the mother cat to a good home (she didn't get along with Bittlebub at all). Originally, I was going to keep Jason and Patches was going to my friend. However, by the time we got around to it Patches and Jason had totally bonded with me and didn't want to be separated. Of course they got their way and I got both of them. Jason is one of the most gentle cats I've ever seen. You can pretty much do anything to him and he'll just take it in good spirits. Jason is also one of the least agile cat I've ever seen. He has problems balancing on the back of the sofa. While his sister Patches walks along the banister in my house with ease, Jason rarely tries it and almost always is very wobbly when he manages not to fall off. He's also a huge cat weighing in at a little over 17 pounds. He's really not overweight either, he's just that big. Jason has figured out what a door knob is for, though he can't operate one. Sometimes when he wants in a room he will stretch up and put his paws around the door knob to try to get inside.
